What Youll Do:
The Parts Stock Room Assistant is responsible for supporting daily shipping and receiving operations, including the use of a forklift to load and unload pallets. This role manages inventory levels across multiple locations, ensures accurate counts, and assists with annual inventory audits. The Assistant keeps stockrooms clean, organized, and secure, while processing online part orders, product returns, and system transactions in NetSuite. They also assist technicians by delivering rush parts in the field and play an active role in process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Daily shipping and receiving including use of forklift for loading/unloading of pallets
- Managing stock levels at multiple locations
- Ensuring count accuracy and leading annual inventory counts
- Keeping stock rooms organized, clean and tidy
- Processing online part orders
- Processing product returns
- Entering transactions in NetSuite as required
- Picking up rush parts from vendors and dropping off to technicians in the field
- Contribute to business growth and improvement initiatives
- Maintain the security & safety of the stockroom
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with boating industry preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent team player
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- Good computer skills (inhouse training on NetSuite will be provided)
- High School Diploma or GED (minimum)
- Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record
- Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs
- Forklift experience preferred but training is available
