JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with Safety, Test Engineering, and Shop Operations to develop procedures to ensure safe and efficient machine testing and maintenance in the machine Testing Laboratory.
- Conduct Risk Assessments.
- Develop Safe Job Procedures and facilitate the process from origination through review to publication.
- Maintain process document links and data in dashboards
- Document Client Requirements.
- Research New technologies.
- Document and Deploy solutions that help our clients develop world-class products.
- Review Process Breakdown to understand Root Cause.
- Develop Corrective Actions to resolve longstanding issues.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/industrial engineering or related field with 2 years’ experience.
- Must be local to the Tucson area.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Process Documentation experience.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Lean/Six Sigma experience.
- Project Management experience.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Machine Testing experience.
- Machine Design experience.
- Electrical Safety experience.
SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:
- A passion to seek to understand the needs of the clients and customers.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration mindset.
