JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc., or any other non-IT based projects.
- Coordinate projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities.
- Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
- Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
- Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
- Attend control meetings, gather tasks from team members, update project plans, analyze data from changes made to project plan (week over week variances, critical path analysis, etc.).
- Understand/implement scrum working with team members for continuous improvement, prioritizing work and understanding the customers’ backlog and needs.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of project related experience.
- Agile/scrum master experience.
- Traditional waterfall project experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Proficient in computer software, such as MS Suite including MS Project and Azure DevOps.
- Microsoft Project/Dev Ops experience.
SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Strong emotional intelligence skills.
