JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the translation of complex business requirements into technical solutions within our data analytics projects.
- Ensure that data-driven initiatives align with segment and business unit objectives are executed efficiently across cross-functional data domains and teams, including onshore, nearshore, and offshore collaborators.
- Possess a blend of technical acumen and business insight and facilitate seamless integration of data solutions into our business processes.
- Engage with stakeholders across departments to identify and document business challenges that can be addressed through data analytics.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing business processes to pinpoint areas for improvement and data integration.
- Develop detailed business cases and process models to support data-driven decision-making.
- Convert business requirements into clear technical specifications, ensuring alignment with data architecture and governance standards.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to design data models, ETL processes, and integration strategies that support analytics objectives.
- Define and document technical requirements, calculations, etc., for data products - datasets/data views, data visualizations.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Coordinate with onshore, nearshore, and offshore teams, ensuring that project timelines and quality standards are met across all regions.
- Maintain alignment among globally distributed teams.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years’ experience.
- Master’s degree with 5 years’ experience.
- 5 years’ experience in business analysis, with a focus on data analytics or business intelligence projects.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Experience in the manufacturing industry (Data Domains).
- Understanding of data analytics technology.
- Proven experience working with global teams, including offshore and nearshore collaborators.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes (e.g., Snowflake).
SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and vice versa.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and self-motivated.
- Experience working within the manufacturing industry - focused on related data domains, such as but limited to operations, supply chain, marketing, etc.
