Diversified Sourcing Solutions is looking for cycle counters for a piping facility in Pearland and surrounding area. The Material Handler / Cycle Counter is responsible for picking parts as well as putting them into location when appropriate as well as the maintenance of material counts and locations. Performs cycle and piece counts as directed by supervision and schedule. Responsible for recording and maintaining proper markings, locations and counts. Supports efforts to ensure the availability of all necessary materials required to support the manufacturing process in order to meet shipment and on time delivery commitments.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Pick parts and deliver as needed for supplying internal departments with materials
- Maintain accurate counts, part markings and locations of inventory on the shop floor.
- This includes :
- Perform special activities as assigned
- Key member of cycle count and annual physical inventory count efforts.
- Both personal and shared responsibility for both working in a safe manner and maintaining a safe environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Normal manufacturing shop floor demands, involves operating forklifts, hoists, walking, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs with occasional extended hours.
Compensation
Pay is $16 to $18
