- Responsible to ensure a constant flow of materials with no stock outs and materials are within assigned inventory levels.
- Conduct weekly audits on Min and Max inventory levels and trigger reorder points (ROP) to ensure proper replenishment of materials.
- Daily monitor material levels, production demand, and identify shortages.
- Conduct cycle counts throughout the facility to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Conduct BOM audits to ensure inventory movement in SAGE system is accurate.
- Utilize visual management to trigger purchasing and manufacturing orders for raw materials, WIP, and Finished goods.
- Support PFEP material strategy for raw, WIP, and finished goods (plan for every part).
- Support work cross-functionally to install assembly line flow racking, two bin systems, and kitting for assembly lines.
- Maintain bin locations on shop floor to ensure accurate inventory.
- Maintain all housekeeping and safety standards and training.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years’ Experience with Mid to High Volume Low Mix Assembly Lines.
- 1-2 years’ Experience with Lean Materials Flow or Lean Warehousing.
- Positive attitude with the ability to get results cross-functionally.
- Experience with Excel is required.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Experience with Sage 300 is a plus.
