DSI is in search of an intermediate to moderately advanced-level IT Support & Automation Specialist to provide support to the IT Manager in day-to-day operations, while assisting in creation, revision, and maintenance of data pipelines. Responsibilities included but not limited to :
- Governing data pipeline implementation with EDI, governing customer and supplier data and harnessing it into our ERP, Prophet 21 (possibly using Python, JSON, SFTP, SQL, etc. ETL pipelines)
- Generating and distributing reports via Crystal Reports, Excel, and other reporting methods such as Power BI.
- Build queries and mine data to facilitate analysis and evaluation of accounts.
- Solving users' problems via macros, stored procedures, cron jobs, scripting, etc. and building meaningful tools.
- In periods of low activity this position provides Helpdesk support by diagnosing and resolving a range of computer-related issues spanning hardware (including servers, Windows desktops, phones, et.), software, VPN connectivity, printing problems, system failures, IP Telephony and other technology-related matters.
- Other duties as assigned, with an emphasis on data integrity or pipelining.
