DSI is searching for a Technical Specialist (Telecom) who is well rounded in managing 50 telecommunication tickets that may involve data entry, troubleshooting, critical thinking, inventory management, asset management, etc. This could involve traveling to London, OH site to take inventory of the radios, etc./technology as it is sent/received for repair. Will involve some data entry aspects to track assets. The candidate is responsible for managing MARCS radio systems and creating and/or modifying program modules. The candidate should also have knowledge of Intune, tango management for managing mobile phone devices.

Responsibilities:
- Recommends software reusability guidelines.
- Plans and conducts formal mentorship activities for peers and/or lower-level staff via verbal instruction or technical documentation.
- SCCM/Qualys patch management, monitor for emerging vulnerabilities and prioritize critical patches, analyze patch compliance reports to identify and address potential security risks, investigate and resolve patch deployment issues.
- Create Technical documentation with application functionality and test methods, various flow diagrams (Business/Functional).
- 4-year college degree.
- 10 years of relevant experience.
- SCCM/Qualys patch management.
- Development Skills: S olutions design; Project technical planning; Analysis and design; Communication; Testing and implementation.
- Development Tools: SCCM/Qualys patch management, PowerShell and VB scripting, WQL/SQL query.
- Documentation: Application functionality and test methods, various flow diagrams (Business/Functional).
- SCCM, MARCS radio, Tango and Intune.
- Experience within infrastructure (telecom / VOIP).
- Resolving tickets / critical thinking skills.
- Local to Ohio and comfortable with travel within the State.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Excel).
- Experience with asset inventory.
- Ability to work remotely within a team environment and able to function with little/no supervision.
- Strong work ethics.
- Willingness to be trained up to speed within telecom functions, etc. of the organization.
- Intune and Tango management.
