Description
DSI is searching for a Database Administrator who will be the lead in transitioning the ownership of a Tableau-based dashboard, including developing and maintaining dashboards to extract additional insights that come from collecting new provider data. This position will also spearhead the development of reports from other data sources, including SPARCS.
Responsibilities
Engineer and maintain an automated data pipeline in a GCP environment, leveraging Vertex AI Workbench for ETL processes to maintain, analyze, and report KPI's from healthcare facilities, with data visualized in Tableau.
Report generation for financial data on funding, grants, and statewide hospital rate setting, using BigQuery to automate.
Develop and deploy macros to automate reports in Excel and Data storage from Shared mailboxes in OneDrive.
Maintain FDH Tableau dashboards and handle updates/changes/reports. Utilize both Tableau desktop and Tableau Server.
Assist fiscal analysts in their analytics tasks through reports from FDH Tableau Dashboards.
Communicate with the team to analyze and inspect the scope for automation of tasks either using Macros/VBA or Python.
Requirements
6 months of experience working in Medicaid programs.
6 months of experience maintaining an automated data pipeline in a GCP environment.
60 months experienced as a data scientist/analyst using SQL, Tableau, and/or Python.
24 months experience data cleaning and preparation for use in complex data models.
6 months experience maintaining, analyzing, and reporting KPIs from healthcare facilities.
6 months experience developing and deploying VBA macros to automate reports in Excel.
60 months of experience visualizing data in Tableau.
Bachelor's of Engineering Degree.
Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing.
Master of Science Degree in Data Science.
