DSI is searching an experienced Application Solution Architect specializing in Salesforce with expertise in integrating with state-level platforms, particularly the IES Gateway. This contract role focuses on designing and implementing scalable solutions that enable seamless integration between Salesforce and Georgia's Integrated Eligibility System (IES) Gateway. The ideal candidate will combine deep Salesforce expertise with strong knowledge of government systems integration, ensuring robust data interoperability for grant management and financial reporting workflows.
The Salesforce Solution Architect analyzes customer business needs and participates in the planning, design and implementation of new or enhanced systems. Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff and establishes standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
IES Gateway Integration: Design and implement comprehensive integration solutions between Salesforce and IES Gateway, ensuring reliable data synchronization and process automation.
Solution Architecture: Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions that effectively leverage IES Gateway capabilities for grant management and financial reporting.
System Integration: Create robust integration patterns using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools to establish secure data flows between Salesforce and state systems.
Technical Leadership: Guide development teams in implementing integration solutions while ensuring adherence to both Salesforce and state system standards.
Compliance & Security: Ensure solutions meet federal and state security requirements, implement proper data protection and audit mechanisms.
Business Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate complex integration needs into technical solutions.
Grant Management: Design solutions that leverage IES Gateway for streamlined grant processing, financial reporting, and compliance tracking.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all integration components, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, and security protocols.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
7 years in Salesforce architecture and development roles.
2 years' experience with government system integrations.
Proven experience with state-level eligibility systems or similar platforms.
Expert knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and integration patterns.
5 years of strong experience with API design, web services, and ETL processes.
5 years proficiency in integration technologies (MuleSoft, SOAP/REST APIs, middleware).
2 years of deep understanding of government eligibility systems and grant management processes.
Excellent communication skills with ability to work with government stakeholders.
Strong project management and documentation abilities.
Leadership qualities to guide cross-functional teams.
Analytical approach to solving complex integration challenges.
Preferred Experience/Skills
Previous experience with state-level system integrations.
Knowledge of federal grant management requirements.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies in government projects.
Experience with DevOps practices for Salesforce (CI/CD pipelines, Gearset, GitHub).
