Overview
The Information Technology Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and supporting the organization's technology infrastructure. This position involves troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining computer systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce Plus and other operating systems and programming languages, along with excellent problem-solving skills. This is a six week contract assignment, in Atlanta(Buckhead).
Duties
- Provide technical support for hardware and software issues across the organization.
- Manage and maintain operating systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for staff on new technologies.
- Assist in the implementation of new IT systems and upgrades.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Maintain documentation of IT processes, procedures, and system configurations
Skills
- Salesforce knowledge is a plus
- Strong understanding of various operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
- Experience in computer management and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with training development to enhance staff capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical users.
