About the Position:
Diversify is seeking to hire an experienced IT Support Technician to meet the growing demand of its userbase. The technology team at Diversify consists of the CTO, Director of Information Systems, and Diversify’s contracted MSP. This position will help Diversify reduce its reliance on MSP services and shift towards providing more in-house IT support that will create a more consistent, remarkable service experience. This is a full-time, in-office role stationed at our headquarters in Sandy, Utah.
Your Impact:
- Manage Diversify’s IT infrastructure.
- Strengthen Diversify’s cybersecurity.
- Respond to requests and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Catalog tickets for analysis and tracking.
- Set up new users and ensure excellent onboarding experience.
- Follow prompt offboarding procedures to ensure compliance and security.
- Set up new hardware including computers, monitors, desks, docking stations, keyboards and mice, webcams, scanners, printers, and other items.
- Solve complex hardware and software issues through advanced techniques.
- Resolve networking issues, including management to firewalls, WAPs, etc.
- Document all processes to ensure proper discovery and resolution of future issues.
Who You Are:
- Able to work in-office at least three days per week and be able to come to the office as needed, even on work-from-home days.
- Must live within 30 minutes of both the Sandy and Orem locations.
- Working hours are expected to be 9AM to 5PM but must be available as early as 7AM and as late as 7PM.
- Minimum of 3 years working in IT-related positions.
- Dedicated to solving problems in the best way and finding long-term solutions.
- Have a personable and friendly attitude, building relationships and trust through the company.
- Must be flexible, adaptable and able to react quickly to pressing issues and find solutions to challenging problems.
- Must be a fast and eager learner, constantly improving and applying knowledge not just in work but in daily life.
Your Toolkit:
- Experience in Microsoft 365 and its admin centers.
- Security training and breach mitigation experience.
- Experience with cloud computing including user management and access, security, and utilization.
- Experience with storage and backups.
- Experience with Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
- Networking experience, including cabling, Firewall and WAP configuration, etc.
- Strong hardware knowledge, including troubleshooting and building skills.
- Advanced problem solving and discovery skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to clearly articulate instructions and current tasks to any user within the company.
- Strong detail orientation and organizational skills.
- Passionate about delivering an exceptional support experience.
- Certifications are valued and highly recommended (i.e., A , Network , Security , CCNA, etc.), but not required.
