What Youll Do
Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the General Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of our accounting team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting. Youll drive best practices, enhance operational processes, and support critical financial decision-making as we scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Oversee Accounting Operations
- Ensure the general ledger is accurate, well-maintained, and in compliance with US GAAP.
- Manage month-end and year-end close, ensuring timeliness and precision.
- Oversee accrual accounting, compensation accounting, and financial reconciliations.
- Support internal & external audits and drive necessary improvements.
Process Improvement & Systems Implementation
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Lead the adoption of best practices & automation tools to enhance accuracy and workflow.
- Play a key role in ERP system implementation and upgrades.
Team Leadership & Development
- Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous growth.
- Assign and review work, provide training, and guide team members in technical accounting matters.
Financial Controls & Strategic Support
- Ensure strong financial controls to safeguard company assets and financial integrity.
- Provide key insights and support to the finance team on financial analysis & decision-making.

What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in Accounting (CPA or Masters preferred).
- 8 years of accounting experience (experience in construction, manufacturing, or renewable energy a plus).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP (Big Four experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with major ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
- Experience with ERP implementation is a plus.
- Direct experience with ASC 710 and ASC 712 is a plus

- Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 annually
