Position Overview:
The Regional Director of Operations will oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic management of multiple resort properties within the Caribbean region. This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence, enhancing guest satisfaction, and driving profitability. The ideal candidate must have proven experience as a Regional Director of Operations, a strong background in Food and Beverage (F&B) management, and significant work experience in the Caribbean.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve company objectives for financial performance, guest satisfaction, and employee engagement.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance across all properties, ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.
- Collaborate with property General Managers to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Food & Beverage Excellence
- Oversee F&B operations to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality dining experiences across all resorts.
- Partner with F&B directors and managers to develop innovative menus and drive revenue through enhanced dining experiences.
Operational Oversight
- Ensure that all resorts meet or exceed brand standards in service, cleanliness, and facilities.
- Manage budgets and control costs while driving revenue growth.
- Evaluate operational systems and implement efficiencies to enhance productivity.
Talent Management
- Recruit, develop, and mentor property leaders and operational staff.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability across the region.
Guest Experience
- Maintain a strong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences across all properties.
- Respond to guest feedback and implement solutions to address concerns or enhance services.
- Leverage insights to anticipate market trends and adjust operations proactively.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in hospitality management, with at least 2 years as a Regional Director of Operations overseeing multiple properties.
- Food & Beverage Expertise: Extensive background in F&B operations, including menu development, service standards, and revenue management.
- Caribbean Work Experience: Demonstrated success in managing hospitality operations within the Caribbean region, with a deep understanding of local cultures, markets, and labor regulations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and analyzing P&L statements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in operational software and tools.
· This position is based in North Carolina with extensive travel to the Caribbean.
