Job Summary
The Project Controls Analyst is responsible for supporting cost and / or schedule management of moderate scope and complexity on a variety of projects and provides cross-departmental support. Responsibilities include preparing analysis and recommendations on schedule and / or cost performance. Assignments may include creating complex project schedules, preparing cost reports, analyzing data and preparing ad-hoc reporting for project management.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for cost and / or schedule management of projects of moderate scope and complexity and providing support to field and department staff.
- Responsibilities may include : performing analysis and developing recommendations to address schedule and / or cost performance.
- Assignments may include creating complex project schedules, preparing cost reports, analyzing data and preparing ad-hoc reporting for project management.
- Schedule Management : develop and maintain resource loaded project schedules, including identifying areas where mitigating actions are necessary.
- Perform analysis and work with stakeholders on schedule performance.
- Participate in schedule management discussions and makes recommendations to influence decisions
- Cost Management : analyze reports and discuss cost performance with stakeholders.
- Review actual costs, prepare forecasts for multiple projects, and identify areas where mitigating actions are necessary.
