Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor patients’ health by checking vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Light Housekeeping
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Support clients with memory care needs, including those with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Assist in mobility and transportation for clients as required.
Skills
- Proven experience in caregiving or related fields, particularly in home community care and memory care settings.
- Strong patient monitoring skills, including the ability to assess vital signs accurately.
- Medication Management.
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques and strategies for engaging individuals with cognitive challenges.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization within the client's living space.
- Certification in CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is essential.
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a valuable asset.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and empathy towards clients' needs.
