Job Overview PLEASE READ! Must be able to drive to Waterville for morning and evening shift and to his job on Hill Avenue to assist with client using the restroom and warming his lunch)
Schedule : Monday through Friday 5am to 7:30am/8pm and 11am to 12 noon (client bathroom break at work on Hill avenue) and Monday and Tuesday 4pm to 9pm.
CPR First aid is required, High School Diploma/GED, Valid driver license and car insurance, and DSP certification.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide patient care in a clean and safe environment, ensuring all care plans are followed accurately.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences of clients.
- Monitor patients’ health by observing their physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring that each client receives personalized support.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of patient observations and care provided.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Strong skills in patient observation and monitoring are essential for this role.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques that cater to specific dietary requirements is beneficial.
- Ability to follow care plans diligently while demonstrating patience and empathy towards clients.
- First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held is required.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
