Job Summary :

The Business Development Executives focus on selling to net new customers (selling new services, multiple services, new projects, multiple locations) through prospecting, networking, and executing on marketing initiatives to increase our footprint within their assigned territory resulting in revenue growth and quota attainment. The Business Development Executives will be supported through National Accounts to uncover additional customer needs, for customer on boarding, reviewing, and solving customer issues.

What You'll Do :

  • Sales Planning & Execution - Establish and implement an annual and quarterly sales plan to acquire new accounts. Deliver results that meet or exceed expectations. (Measured by top line growth and margin targets).
  • Selling Activities : Assess prospective customer's current and potential needs, determining appropriate new revenue streams. Position and illustrate alternative ways of creating the real value of DMG's total solution offerings for customers through assessing their problems or opportunities and highlighting DMG's areas of strength, competitive pricing, customer satisfaction and competitive advantages within each existing and net new accounts. Increase the net new revenue stream, build customer relationships through strategic conversations to understand organizational business objectives and goals, key customer decision maker(s) to structure partnership strategy as it relates to customer requirements. Ensures frequent communication to enable superior customer satisfaction and to keep customer educated on emerging industry trends related to customer's organizational information management needs. Employs appropriate methods of persuasion when soliciting agreement. Continuously prospect to develop net new customers. Maintain a consistent 'pipeline' that enables meeting and exceeding quota attainment. Responsible for identifying, selling, and closing new areas of opportunity, securing resources, and driving sales process to assist in scoping and pricing for special projects within net new and assigned accounts. Partner with the customers on renewals and work through any RFP process by identifying gaps in current contract in place and understanding customer needs to successfully renew the contract. Keep up to date on activity within industry associations in the market to increase DMG awareness. (Measured by Activity targets and results measured in Salesforce dashboard).
  • Obsession with Customer / Provider Service & Satisfaction - Lead based on our Mission and Vision and be a role model for The Basics. Provide uninterrupted peace of mind through sustainable relationships and inspire team members and bring peace of mind to every FM (Facilities Maintenance) solution through industry-leading technology, innovation, and service. (Measured by customer & provider surveys).

  • Problem Solving : Assesses situations quickly, reviews options, plans solutions and acts with urgency.
  • Time Management : Dedicates appropriate time to priorities, not easily distracted, and follows-up appropriately.
  • Analytical : ability to compile, summarize, analyze, report and action data.
  • 10 years of related sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent sales experience.
  • Must exhibit excellent written, oral and presentation skills through power messaging.
  • Encompasses strong interpersonal, planning, analytical skills and business acumen for effective decision making.
  • Be able to make business decisions and think in broad terms, considering the impact to the entire company.
  • Experience in complex sales organizations.
  • Ability to manage the stress of a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet the in-person requirements of the team and / or business needs.
