Server/Waiter

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding guest services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing menus and information about daily specials.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems.
• Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while ensuring proper food handling and safety protocols are followed.
• Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, fostering positive guest relations.
• Process payments using cash register systems, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations throughout the shift.
• Adhere to all food safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe dining experience for all guests.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions effectively.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus.
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly.
• Experience working in a kitchen environment is beneficial, along with an understanding of culinary practices.
