Hydrasearch is an essential U.S. manufacturing company seeking a Business Development Specialist to join their team in Stevensville, MD!
The Business Development team is responsible for identifying and qualifying Hydrasearch for new business in the Government/Armed Forces Market space. We currently are recognized as a top tier supplier with numerous QPL’s and NSN’s along with being a Level One Subsafe supplier. Additional growth will come through our business partners while adhering to our foundational principles of domestic manufacturing and partnering with the specification writers and contracting officers to provide the End User with the best product available.
We are an ISO facility pursuing a more evolved Quality Management System. The right candidates will have connections within various branches, supply depots and/or both Commercial and Government OEM’s as well as experience selling into various bid boards. 10 years minimum required experience. Security clearances, site passes, etc. are greatly preferred. Responsibilities
- Develop business plan for growth over specific time periods
- Work with our customers to assist Hydrasearch in suppling the required goods or services
- Ability to promote a manufacturing company through a thorough understanding of machining; engineering background preferred but not required
- Work as part of a team and participate in training
- Understanding and developing NSN’s.
- Ability to communicate effectively through reporting software (Salesforce.com).
- Will seek opportunities that coincide with the business objectives of Hydrasearch
- Ability to comprehend government contracts
- Ability to use CAD software preferred but not required
- Ability to travel domestically
- Ability to work with Chief Warrant officers and DLA contracting officers
- Understanding of military specifications
- Team oriented and willing to participate in training and improvement
Salary : $80,000 - $140,000
