What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Content & Community Manager position at DJ Graffiti?

Do you love social media and learning how to master the algorithm? Passionate about audience engagement, writing and design? Were you born to work with music, events and building communities? We're looking for a top tier Social Media Manager to join the team and take our digital presence to the next level!

We'll work together to build and refine our social strategy & content calendar. We'll provide a stream of photo and video content that you'll edit into video clips, graphic posts and carousels. Then, you'll track the results so we can better understand our audience and keep giving them the content they love.

You should have solid experience with social media, but your abilities and drive to be the best are much more important than a ton of unnecessary requirements & qualifications.

The Opportunity

As our Social Media Manager, you'll have the chance to :

Craft engaging content for major platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
Edit images and video clips that capture the essence of the DJ Graffiti brand
Develop eye-catching thumbnails and compelling descriptions that drive engagement
Analyze social media metrics to optimize our content strategy
Learn the secrets of creating viral-worthy posts
Collaborate with a dynamic team passionate about lifting people’s spirits with good energy

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have :

Experience crafting and posting winning social media content (experience editing to music is a plus)

A love for design, with an eye for appealing content

Basic graphic, photo and video editing skills (tools provided)

The desire to soak up new training to uplevel abilities

A detail oriented mindset and the ability to work self-sufficiently (👎 micro-managing)

Strong written communication skills for crafting engaging captions

An eagerness to learn about the ever changing social media landscape

The ability to work 15-20 hours per week (flexible schedule)

Note : This is initially a part-time position but has the potential to grow to full time, or to earn commissions if you drive consistent sales in our online store.)
