Job Summary: Building/Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a dedicated Building/Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the functionality and upkeep of our club equipment and facilities, performing preventive maintenance and repairs to create a safe and welcoming environment for our members.
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time/Flexible
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on cardio equipment, weight machines, tanning beds, hydro massage beds, and more.
- Maintain mechanical systems, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical components.
- Complete facility upkeep tasks such as painting and general repairs.
- Coordinate with management to arrange external services for warranties, inspections, and extensive repairs.
- Follow and execute maintenance schedules (annual, monthly, and weekly, etc.).
- Provide exceptional customer service by resolving facility and equipment concerns promptly.
- Address emergency maintenance requests with urgency.
- Submit weekly reports for your assigned club.
- Participate in special projects as needed.

Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
- High school diploma/GED (required).
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Knowledge of facility maintenance and repair processes.
- Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- CPR Certification (preferred).

Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs (occasionally over 80 lbs).
- Exposure to toxic chemicals (infrequent).
- Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching.
- Talking in person or via phone throughout the shift.
