What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at DKD Electric?
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
- Independently handling A-Z functions / steps of on-boarding and off-boarding an employee.
- Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for every role, and to meet competitive hiring goals and expectations.
- HR functions such as FMLA, workers’ compensation, benefits administration, unemployment claims and 401(k) management.
- Maintain accurate employee records and handle confidential information with integrity.
- Administers employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate and timely enrollment, updates, and communication.
- Conducts regular audits of HR processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Facilitating and / or handling employee disciplinary action and terminations.
- Daily communication with your supervisor(s), and other departments.
- Daily monitoring of emails / calls and responding timely to employee inquiries.
- Processing and tracking Time Off Requests / Paid Sick Leave, as well as attendance sheets.
- Daily updating and regularly auditing tracking spreadsheets.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
