Distinguished First Party Property & B.I. Insurance Defense Litigation Law Firm with its office in TAMPA is looking for an experienced CIVIL TRIAL Attorney to join their firm REMOTELY! (This job is 100% REMOTE - must live within 1 hour of Tampa).
***IDEAL Candidates have 3 years experience in any type of Insurance Defense Litigation in FLORIDA and have either prepared for 5 civil trials or actually TRIED 1 or more Jury Trial***
We will consider candidates from ANY CIVIL PRACTICE AREA. Must live within 1 hour of TAMPA. It's a remote position but some of our cases require in-person appearances.
JOB DUTIES: drafting initial pleadings, written discovery, taking/defending depositions, mediation, and trial. Preparing expert witnesses for depositions, taking expert witness depositions, meeting with clients, drafting demand letters, court hearings, substantive motions, preparing and arguing MSJs, complex legal research & writing, issuing/answering written discovery, negotating with public adjusters, settlement negotations, and managing all files assigned to you. Must be able to manage a high-volume caseload autonomously. Should be highly independent, organized and able to multi-task.
COMPETITIVE BASE SALARY Health, Dental, Vision, 401k PTO REMOTE!
Salary : $115,000 - $150,000
