Job Description Distinguished, national insurance defense litigation firm is looking for experienced NEW YORK INSURANCE DEFENSE ATTORNEYS to join their LONG ISLAND team (located in Melville).WE ALLOW HYBRID REMOTE SO YOU CAN WORK FROM HOME 2-3 DAYS PER WEEK (should live within a commutable distance to Melville, NY).Should have substantial experience with NY Bodily Injury or General Liability Defense or Plaintiff's Personal Injury cases, namely Trucking Accidents, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Premises Liability, Products Liability and / or Medical Malpractice cases.
- IDEAL Candidates have 2 years experience in NY Insurance Defense Litigation (B.I. or General Liability Defense).
- DUTIES : reviewing and analyzing new files from assignment by the adjuster, drafting pleadings, motions, issuing written discovery, answering discovery, deposition prep, depositions, arguing motions, attending court hearings, mediations, trials, client phone calls, and regularly preparing comprehensive status reports to the clients.
