Summary
This position supports the Accounts Receivable department in researching and processing various cash applications and other credit accounting.
Location
This position can sit in our Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, Northern Virginia, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Raleigh, Reston, San Diego, Seattle, Short Hills, Washington DC, or Wilmington office and offers a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Process cash application in Aderant.
- Research pending cash receipts and related items that are unidentified and unapplied.
- Respond to A/R related requests and inquiries from various groups such as billing and collections.
- Address and resolve tickets in ServiceNow.
- Assist with write offs, reversals, and reallocations.
- Work closely with the Collections department to apply pending and unallocated payments.
- Complete the above responsibilities within established timeframes and standards.
- Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of general accounting procedures. Computer skills required to include proficiency in Microsoft Excel and 10-key. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that promotes teamwork. This individual should maintain a professional demeanor and possess organizational and leadership skills.
Minimum Education
- High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Years of Experience
- 2 years of experience as an AR Specialist.

Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Work Environment

The firm’s expected hiring range for this position is $26.08 - $36.57 per year depending on the candidate’s geographic market location.
The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
