We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the beauty and health of residential and commercial landscapes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors and possess a strong understanding of lawn care practices, tree care, and groundskeeping techniques.
Duties
- Perform lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, and edging to ensure well-maintained lawns.
- Execute tree care tasks such as pruning and planting to promote healthy growth.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Dig, plant, and maintain flower beds, shrubs, and other landscape features.
- Operate snow plowing equipment during winter months to keep properties accessible.
- Conduct regular inspections of lawns and landscapes to identify issues or areas needing attention.
- Build landscape features as needed, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to design plans.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and basic mechanical knowledge.
Experience
- Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with groundskeeping practices and the use of hand tools is beneficial.
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance will be an advantage.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
