Credit Underwriter
As a Credit Underwriter for the Construction, Transportation, and Industrial (“CTI”) business unit, you will be expected to perform underwriting activities for new and existing business, develop and effectively communicate deal structures to key stakeholders, monitor credit / risk profiles, and participate in special projects.

Day to Day
- Perform credit evaluation and risk analysis for complex transactions across several industries, with a specific focus in transportation-related assets.
- Complete analysis on financial, asset, market, legal and contractual risk as a basis for decisions and recommendations.
- Perform annual reviews, customer re-ratings and regulatory notifications to meet Basel II Compliance.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the transportation industry and advise on market trends to drive good credit decisioning within the portfolio.
- Coordinate with vendor partners to develop and monitor credit risk acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Legal, Compliance and Asset Management to properly structure and document transactions.
- Decision credit applications as assigned and support team with overflow to meet timing expectations.
- Monitor credit / risk profiles and compliance (including OFAC and KYC screening)
- Ensure compliance with global and local credit risk management policies.
- Actively participate in meetings with customers and internal members.
- Effectively and professionally present applications to local and global credit committees.
- Contribute to local procedure development and underwriting training initiatives.
- Monitor and escalate risks to team lead, credit manager and / or Head of Retail Credit

Applicable Pay Range
73,754.24 - $110,631.36
DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.
This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
