What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music Venue VIP Server position at DLS Events LLC?
DLS Events at The Amp Ballantyne is looking for a highly motivated, upbeat, and friendly VIP server. Server will provide exceptional customer service to every guest while taking orders and delivering the desired products in a timely manner.
Essential functions and responsibilities:
- Take order from guests and assist in preparing orders when necessary
- Consistently following food and beverage sequence of service in accordance of all applicable laws and regulations as well as established procedures and policies
- Have working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor as well as common drink recipes
- Accurately and efficiently utilize a POS system
- Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise
- Maintain cleanliness of all work stations
- Promptly and professionally handles guest issues and communicate problems and concerns to management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restaurants and service industry recommended but not required
- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to work well with others
- Be able to work in the standing position for long periods of time
- Must be at least 21 years old
