Warehouse Manager

A home goods manufacturer is in need of a Warehouse Manager to support their growing business.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing inventory with accuracy and efficiency.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems to minimize errors and improve accuracy.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure a safe, organized, and compliant work environment by enforcing safety protocols and maintaining equipment and facility standards.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate logistics and scheduling with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Supervise maintenance and safe operation of warehouse equipment, including managing a fleet of forklifts.
• Manage shipping and receiving functions, including carrier scheduling, shipment documentation, and ensuring order accuracy.
• Collaborate with Customer Service to quickly and effectively resolve order or delivery issues.
• Build and maintain a cohesive, motivated warehouse team, ready to adapt to the fast-paced and dynamic needs of the operation.

Experience needed to be successful:

• At least 5 years of experience working in a warehouse or distribution center supporting manufacturing (automotive, food & beverage, home furnishings, medical device etc.)
• Prior experience supervising employees
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience in receiving
• Previous experience using a forklift is preferred
• Strong communicator!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
