- Inspecting: Checking equipent, facilities, and grounds for issues
- Repairing: Performing minor fixes, such as broken locks or wall gaps, or more major repairs, such as plumbing
- Installing: Installing equipment and appliances
- Maintaining: Performing routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs or mowing the lawn
- Cleaning: Dusting, mopping, and other cleaning activities
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and solving problems with equipment and systems, such as ventilation
- Safety: Checking the functionality of safety systems, such as fire alarms, and following company safety regulations
