Maintenance Worker For Vacation Homes

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities through a variety of maintenance tasks. This role requires a combination of mechanical knowledge, electrical skills, and customer service abilities to maintain a safe and efficient environment for both staff and residents.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including electrical repairs, plumbing, and HVAC system checks.
• Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Utilize logic controllers to troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Conduct residential painting and minor renovations as needed to maintain property aesthetics.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand complex systems and components.
• Use an ohmmeter and other tools to test electrical systems, ensuring they operate within safe parameters.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs made, and supplies used.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from residents or staff.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to facility management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in maintenance or a related field with strong mechanical knowledge.
• Proficiency in electrical systems and ability to work with logic controllers.
• Familiarity with residential painting techniques and materials.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply logic in troubleshooting situations.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong supervisory skills when needed.
• Must be detail-oriented with the ability to maintain high standards of quality in all tasks performed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
