Golf Course Maintenance Laborers (9) Fulltime, Temporary, Peak load (H-2B) Jobs available 03 / 01 / 2025-12 / 01 / 2025.Employer : DLV Hamptons Management, LLC dba Dune Deck Beach Club., 379 Dune Road, Westhampton Beach, NY 11942.Duties : Operates mowers and string trimmers in trimming greens, aprons, and tees around trees, fence lines, banks, and hillsides; also edges cart paths and rakes and maintains sand bunkers. Sets tee markers and cups on greens daily, maintains ball washers, replaces tee towels and flags when needed, removes debris, sands and seeds, tee and drop area divots, and cleans flower beds. Maintains fuel and fluid levels for all types of equipment, such as riding mowers, push mowers, weed eaters, leaf blowers, and golf carts daily, and reports equipment problems or failure to the equipment manager immediately. Returns all equipment to the designated location and cleans the maintenance areas. Under the direction of the golf course maintenance supervisor, the groundskeeper-labor rough crew marks the course for cart control weekly, moves cart control barriers, replaces worn or lost ropes and signs, and may mark hazard and drop areas. Waters and fertilize tees, greens, and fairway, and under the direct supervision of the director of agronomy and superintendent, spray chemicals on landscaped areas. Grades and prepares soil base, lay sod, and seed tees, greens and fairways. Assist with the maintenance and repair of irrigation systems, including sprinkler heads and pipers. May be asked to operate mowers, small utility vehicles for golf course use, such as the John Deere TX gator weighting approximately 600 lbs., or other light equipment.Voluntary housing arrangements may be provided, upon availability is $50.00-$100.00 per week for a shared room (utilities include).Employer to provide transportation to and from multiple worksites in Suffolk county, from designated location : 65 Lewis Rd East Quogue, NY 11942.No education required. 3 months of experience in golf course maintenance required. Possession of a valid driver's license or international equivalent. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.. Background checks will be performed at the expense of the employer.Work Days : Sun-Sat, 6am-5pm, 40 hours / week at $21.87-$24.50 / hour. OT at $32.81-$36.75 / hour when available.A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly.All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer.
