Overview
The Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing complex preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across a wide range of building systems, equipment, and machinery. This role requires expertise in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical systems, and more, ensuring all activities align with safety standards and company regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, a broad technical background, and the ability to prioritize and resolve complex issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarms, and mechanical equipment, in line with established schedules.
- Complex Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions across a variety of systems, such as electrical wiring, plumbing leaks, HVAC units, pool and fountain equipment, and mechanical breakdowns.
- Project Management: Assist in managing small-scale maintenance projects, coordinating with external contractors, ensuring work adheres to budget and timelines, and meeting quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), while promptly reporting safety concerns.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and system performance data.
- Technical Systems Expertise: Apply knowledge of advanced systems, including Savant and Lutron lighting systems, to ensure optimal performance and troubleshooting.
Required Skills Qualifications:
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience and technical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems, with a proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex issues.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong ability to assess problems, identify root causes, and determine effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
- Experience with High-End Finishes: Comfort working around high-end finishes and delicate environments.
- Leadership & Teamwork: Previous experience in a leadership role within a maintenance team, with the ability to mentor and support junior technicians.
Experience:
- Several years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role with a broad skillset across multiple trades.
- Proven experience leading or overseeing maintenance operations within a team environment.
Compensation:
- $110,000, plus medical benefits, paid holidays, sick time, vacation time.
