Marketing Associate

Part-time freelance marketing associate to manage and promote an author/artist’s upcoming book release
About the Job
Highly successful Fine Artist and book author seeking an experienced, self-driven marketing associate. The ideal candidate has successful experience in the creative fields of art, entertainment, and literature. This position has significant potential for growth and additional projects in the future.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience in marketing
- Experienced in creating successful campaigns, managing projects and promoting events
- Direct experience and knowledgeable about networking with LinkedIn
- Any experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and other graphic design software is a plus
- Initially able to work in-person at my Nyack studio, possible remote work as the position develops
Responsibilities
- Collaborate to establish and execute a successful book launch and marketing follow-up
- Expand professional networks and establish authentic connections
- Propose creative and on-trend innovative ways to reach different segments of the market
- Out-of-the-box thinking is encouraged
