DMC's Electrical Engineer will be responsible for creating panel drawings, including BOM, layout, and component sizing, generating IO lists, designing power distribution, and creating loop drawings for field instruments. They will be required to understand and design within various standards such as UL and IEC.

Responsibilities
- Understands automation and electrical components to meet customer specifications, application requirements, and industrial standards
- Creates custom control panel layouts and bills of materials
- Designs wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, and one-line power distribution drawings
- Performs IO checkout and validation
- Performs enclosure FLA and heat dissipation calculations
- Creates and maintains AutoCAD Electrical templates, blocks and symbols library
- Develops BOM's, loop drawings, one-line drawings, PDF drawings utilizing cross reference clicking, panel layouts and size power components
- Organizes and maintains project drawings and technical information
- Ability to manage time amongst multiple projects
- Collaborate with the sales team on incoming projects
- Occasional travel

ITAR Requirements
To conform to U.S. Government commercial space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), applicants for employment at DMC must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawfully admitted for permanent residence into the U.S. (i.e. current green card holder), or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum under 8 U.S.C. § 1157-1158.
Compensation :
Starting compensation is based on industry and location standards.
Additional Information :
Salary : $95,000 - $110,000
