Job Summary
We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead our HR function, driving strategic initiatives that enhance employee experience, organizational effectiveness, and business performance. As a key member of the leadership team, this role will develop and execute HR strategies that support the company’s long-term growth, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and a strong company culture. The ideal candidate is a leader with a deep understanding of HR-related practices, employment law, and organizational development. They will serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, talent development, workforce planning, and employee engagement while building a high-performance culture.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals, driving workforce planning, organizational design, and employee retention initiatives.
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from talent acquisition strategies to leadership development programs that ensure a strong talent pipeline.
- Manage and refine the onboarding process, including orientations, I-9 verification, benefits enrollment, and compliance documentation.
- Act as a trusted advisor for employees on HR policies, workplace concerns, and employee relations matters.
- Lead employee performance initiatives, including performance reviews, leadership coaching, and succession planning.
- Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration, open enrollment, and leave management (FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation).
- Plan and coordinate employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
- Ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, conducting regular audits and updates as needed.
- Leverage HRIS and data analytics to optimize HR processes, workforce insights, and decision-making.
- Stay informed on HR best practices, regulatory changes, and industry trends to improve HR processes and company culture.
- Design and implement training programs that enhance employee skills, engagement, and professional growth.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in human resources with at least 2 years in a Leadership role.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus but not required.
- Prior working knowledge of payroll management, human resource information systems (HRIS), and similar applications
- Expertise in employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
- Experience in strategic HR leadership, talent development, and change management.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies with company objectives.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
