Salary : $100,000 - $150,000 depending on experience

DailyMail.com is seeking an assistant editor on the growing Opinion / Features desk in our New York City office. This is an in-office position and a 9-hour shift Monday to Friday but applicants must be willing to work flexible hours and shifts as news arises.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
- Commissioning news features to run on weekends
- Coming up with original ideas and guiding reporters in the field
- Editing feature content on a wide array of topics from news to celebrity and sport
- Editing under tight deadlines
- Restructuring articles
- Researching article ideas
- Working with photo editors to create images to illustrate articles
- Building articles in a content management system
We are seeking professionals with the following experience :
Dailymail.com operates a 24 / 7 newsroom, and all shifts are expected to be worked from the office. Applicants must be willing to work flexible hours.
