DMG Worldwide is an accounting firm that specializes in helping Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs with their Accounting and cash flow management needs. DMG provides accounting and tax, tax resolution, outsourced CFO, and advisory services.
Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities :
We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist with 5 years of experience to manage and support our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to IT operations, security, and end-user support. The IT Specialist will be responsible for maintaining hardware, software, and networks while ensuring the overall efficiency and security of the IT environment.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting :
Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Train users on new technologies and provide ongoing technical support.
2. Systems Administration :
Manage Windows and Linux servers, including Active Directory, file sharing, and security policies.
3. Network Management :
Maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
4. Cybersecurity :
Implement and monitor security policies to safeguard company data and systems.
5. Software & Cloud Management :
Install, upgrade, and maintain business applications such as ERP, CRM, and productivity tools.
6. Project Management :
Lead IT-related projects, including infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
7. IT Compliance & Documentation :
Ensure adherence to IT policies and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Qualifications and Requirements :
Education :
o Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience :
o Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or related roles.
Certifications (Preferred) :
o CompTIA Network , Security , or A
o Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator Associate
o Cisco CCNA
Technical Skills :
o Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
o Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
o Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
o Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
o Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
