What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Coordinator II position at DMR-Western Region?
The Massachusetts' Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is dedicated to creating innovative and genuine opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism.
The Program Coordinator II (PC II) will provide support and assistance related to the management and completion of assignments, projects, data collection and other related activities, as well as support with contracting activity and fiscal monitoring. The position may participate in procurement processes, resource allocation and tracking, and contract management and oversight activities.
The PC II is responsible for assisting the Area Office with all processes related to revenue generation including monitoring compliance with the Home and Community Based Services Waiver; maintaining Medicaid eligibility for individuals, tracking and facilitating Waiver enrollments and billing processes, resolving Participant Allocation Management and Plan of Care issues and monitoring regulatory timelines.
The PC II is responsible for the administrative management of the investigation and complaint resolution for the Area Office. In addition, the position will assist in the quality monitoring of programs including site visits as needed. The position may provide technical assistance related to Meditech enrollments, and the management of the Participant Directed Program portal and other self-directed program activities.
This position is a member of the Area Office Management Team and is involved in management-level planning and activity. The position requires analytical expertise in creating systems which track information necessary for area office staff to support individuals. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

This position is located at the Berkshire Area Office in Pittsfield, MA.
Schedule: Monday-Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Days Off: Saturday/Sunday
Flexibility required to meet the needs of the Area Office.
