RESPONSIBILITIES - WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Partner with Business Leadership (account) and other functional leads to create tailored project plans, define scope, plan resources and timelines for project needs. You are responsible with delivering on all facets of a project including:
    • initial intake and project plan development
    • determining the project approach
    • establishing key milestones and schedule
    • fostering cross-functional collaboration and project team success using leadership skills and emotional intelligence
    • preparing and maintaining project documentation: key scope documents, schedules, status reports, deliverable lists, change requests, cost baselines, recaps etc.
    • facilitating budget management including burn reports, invoicing and revenue projections
    • performing quality assurance
    • overseeing project closure and project retrospectives
  • Execute and monitor projects alongside project teams to facilitate the agreed-upon approach for the client and organizational goals defined in planning. This includes ensuring the project team meets deadlines, tracking against key milestones, following up on action items and facilitating continuously learning
  • Conduct active risk and change management to support the financial health of the projects and success of the team while maintaining goals of the agency. Manage risk by proactively raising issues around projects before they become a roadblock, and work quickly to resolve any issues that may arise with your project teams.
  • Contribute to agency resource management but actively reporting project status and resource needs into weekly and long-term resourcing workflows
  • Contribute to agency’s PM knowledge base, contribute to thought leadership on approaches and mentor other PM staff


JOB REQUIREMENTS - WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR


  • 7 ( ) years of Project Management experience at creative agency is required
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience 
  • Working understanding of Project Management methodologies (traditional, hybrid and agile)
  • Experience using and mastering project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, Workimajig and Basecamp
  • Industry experience - deep understanding of advertising, marketing, communications, and project workflows
  • Communication - strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as exceptional organizational and time management skill
  • Curiosity and Adaptability – willingness to listen and learn, remain open and curious. High level of comfort learning new information and using it to adapt and improve strategies and tactics. Eagerness to learn and become proficient in new software platforms and work processes.
  • Business Acumen - strong understanding of budgets, business planning, and general operations
  • Critical Thinking – ability to synthesize a large amount of information and anticipate needs, draw informed conclusions.
  • Problem Solving – ability to convert thinking from listening & learning to volunteering and facilitating solutions.
  • Systems Thinking – ability to understand the flow of a process, how all pieces fit together, and how making a change will impact the entire system and agency at large.
  • Task Management - skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executing simultaneous projects and activities. Strong attention to detail.
  • Collaboration/Facilitation – ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, vendors and clients. Ability to work vertically and horizontally with people of various educational, professional, and organizational differences.
  • Emotional Intelligence – ability to manage one’s own emotions and understand the emotions of others and apply them towards thinking and problem solving. Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to changing business priorities

SALARY & BENEFITS

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, skill set, work experience, level of responsibility, education, location, and current salary market data, to determine equitable salary placement.

 

Base salary range at the time of this job posting:  $95,000 - $115,000 DOE

LOCATION

Seattle Office: DNA is working a Hybrid schedule; required in-office days are Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week for employees who live in the Seattle metro region.
