- Ensure Safety Data Sheets and Chemical Supplier Specifications are current and available for all chemicals.
- Guarantee necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is available and that staff are properly trained on its usage.
- Develop and maintain Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
- Verify Chemical Titrations with Chemical Supplier and conduct daily concentration checks of dispensing equipment.
- Analyze sanitation data to identify improvement opportunities and monitor hygiene training for staff development.
- Audits and Inspections:
- Provide support during customer audits, health department inspections, and other scheduled or unscheduled assessments.
- Implement and maintain daily sanitation schedules.
- Coordinate with Food Safety and Hygiene teams on Environmental Testing and develop the Environmental Testing Program.
- Training and Development:
- Collaborate with supervisors and HR to deliver new hire orientation, retraining, and annual training for staff on hygiene protocols.
- Oversee employee and client training on proper sanitation protocols.
- Create and implement appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and SSOPs.
- Conduct training sessions as necessary and investigate accidents, preparing required reports.
- Promote a proactive safety culture and maintain, review, and report quality performance.
- Knowledge of HACCP, ISO, and food safety systems.
- Food Safety Certification, state specific if applicable.
- HACCP Certificate preferred.
- Proactive and self-organized
- Ability to manage through a substantial workload.
- Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience within catering setup or food Manufacturing
- Bachelor´s Degree preferred.
- Good Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
