Position Summary
Doane University, a nationally recognized liberal arts and sciences university in Crete, NE, invites applications for the position of Director of Alumni Engagement. The Director of Alumni Engagement is responsible for leading a collaborative team of alumni engagement and administrative staff in support of Doane University. This position will encourage a culture of engagement and philanthropy through successful alumni programming, marketing campaigns, and meaningful stewardship efforts. The position will direct and implement a comprehensive Alumni Relations Program to build alumni participation and financial support through strong communication, personal interaction, and organizing and implementing reunions, chapters, and special events. A primary goal is to educate alumni about the short and long term needs of the University. The focus will be to enhance engagement of alumni from all programs with Doane University through student recruitment and referrals, career opportunities, networking and annual gifts.

Minimum Experience Description
- Successful alumni relations and/or fundraising experience.
- Demonstrated success in alumni or volunteer program management.

- Problem solving skills
- Proven ability to work on several projects concurrently while meeting deadlines
- Willingness to work creatively to ensure desired results
- Ability to travel as needed.
