Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and detail-driven Videographer to create high-quality video content that boosts online sales and elevates the customer experience. In this role, you’ll craft compelling video assets for eCommerce platforms, social media, and digital marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is both technically skilled and deeply knowledgeable about eCommerce trends and consumer behavior, ensuring every video resonates with our audience and drives engagement.
This full-time, on-site position in Bryan, Ohio, requires a skilled videographer with a passion for digital storytelling, an eye for detail, and expertise in video production and editing– specifically with consumer products. THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION REPORTING TO DOC'S DIESEL HQ IN BRYAN, OH
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos, including product videos, lifestyle content, how-to tutorials, and promotional materials.
- Including but not limited to: Reels, YouTube shorts, Long-from video, animations/flash
- Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and meets platform-specific requirements (Amazon, Shopify, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok).
- Incorporate engaging text overlays, animations, and transitions to enhance storytelling.
- Utilize lighting techniques that align with the brand’s visual identity.
- Maintain a well-organized file library and adhere to a structured file-naming system.
- Collaborate with the marketing and eCommerce teams to develop compelling video concepts that drive engagement and sales, especially as new products launch.
- Storyboard and script videos to highlight product features, benefits, and unique selling points.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, video formats, and emerging content strategies for eCommerce.
- Oversee the end-to-end video production process, from pre-production to post-production.
- Set up and operate cameras, lighting, equipment and audio to capture professional-quality footage.
- Manage production schedules, deadlines, and assets to ensure timely content delivery.
Qualifications
- 3 years of professional experience in videography, video editing, and content creation.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro required; After Effects and DaVinci Resolve are a plus).
- Experience in studio and on-location video shoots with knowledge of lighting and camera equipment.
- Experience with gimbal equipment
- Ability to create short-form and long-form video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, social media, digital ads).
- Strong storytelling ability with a keen eye for visual composition and branding.
- Excellent time management and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Google Drive and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
- Ability to follow creative direction while bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
