What You'll Do

As the Vice President of Business Development – Endemic, you will lead, inspire, and strategically guide a global team of Business Development Directors, empowering them to expand our supply network and drive impactful partnerships within the healthcare ecosystem. As a player/coach, you will actively be contributing to new business acquisition while managing a team of individual contributors. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader with the drive and expertise to both carry an individual quota and oversee team performance. With a primary focus on engaging and closing new business with healthcare endemic publications, you will lead your team in executing high-level strategies that align with Doceree’s organisational goals.


  • Leadership & team development: mentor and lead a global team of Business Development Directors, fostering a high-energy, goal-oriented environment, championing a culture of excellence and continued learning within the team
  • Player/Coach role: own an individual quota, prospecting and closing new business with healthcare endemic publications, while supporting your team in achieving and exceeding their revenue goals
  • Strategic partner engagement: develop and implement strategies to identify, engage, and secure high-value partnerships, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives and maximising team effectiveness
  • Pipeline management: manage all aspects of the sales pipeline – from prospecting through closing – for both individual and team accounts
  • Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with partner success, product, engineering, marketing, legal and finance, and other teams to drive effective partner engagement and efficient deal closure
  • Market expertise: maintain an in-depth understanding of the healthcare advertising ecosystem, health IT providers, marketing technology, advertising, and monetisation to refine strategies and educate team members
  • Revenue & growth leadership: establish KPIs, regularly assess team and individual performance, and ensure that both you and your team are consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Travel: flexibility to travel for partner and team engagement, client meetings, conferences and trade shows



Who You Are

  • 10 years of experience in business development, sales or partner engagement roles, with expertise in the healthcare endemic publications market
  • 3 years in a senior leadership capacity and experience as both a quota-carrying contributor and team manager
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with expertise influencing and closing deals with C-suite and other executive-level stakeholders
  • Demonstrated history of consistently surpassing revenue goals and driving high-impact partnerships in a solution-oriented and creative environment
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset, with proficiency in CRM and prospecting tools (e.g HubSpot, Gong, Highspot, Microsoft Office Suite, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo)
  • Inspiring leader with the ability to drive a high-performance culture, effectively balancing individual and team responsibilities
  • Flexibility to travel as necessary
  • Bachelor's degree
