We are expanding our outreach efforts to serve specific communities, including Assisted Living Facilities, Skilled Nursing Homes, retirement communities, parolees, individuals on probation, advocacy groups, and healthcare providers to ensure they have access to reliable information about medical marijuana benefits and services.
Position Summary:We are seeking a dynamic, motivated Business Development Sales and Marketing Representative to build relationships and drive awareness of our services in targeted markets. This role focuses on outreach and advocacy groups, as well as supporting individuals on parole or probation in accessing medical marijuana resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outreach & Relationship Building:
- Develop partnerships with assisted living facilities, skilled nursing homes, and advocacy groups to educate staff and residents about medical marijuana options.
- Build trust and engagement with probation and parole officers to support individuals seeking medical marijuana recommendations.
- Represent DocMJ at community events, workshops, and meetings.
- Education & Training:
- Conduct presentations and training sessions for facility staff, advocacy groups, and individuals on the benefits of medical marijuana and the steps for obtaining a recommendation.
- Provide up-to-date information about Florida’s medical marijuana program, regulations, and compliance.
- Sales & Marketing:
- Develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns to raise awareness of DocMJ’s services within assigned communities.
- Meet or exceed sales and outreach goals by driving patient referrals from established partnerships.
- Create and distribute tailored marketing materials to promote DocMJ’s services.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure all outreach and marketing efforts comply with Florida medical marijuana laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts, partnerships, and patient referral data.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, or community outreach, preferably in healthcare or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of Florida’s medical marijuana program and related legal regulations is a plus.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel statewide and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in healthcare, senior living, advocacy, or criminal justice reform.
- Experience working with assisted living facilities, skilled nursing homes, or advocacy groups.
- Familiarity with challenges faced by parolees and individuals on probation.
