## Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent eye care services to patients, diagnose vision problems, and prescribe corrective lenses. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment focused on patient well-being.
## Duties
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and detect potential eye diseases
- Diagnose and treat visual conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as needed
- Monitor patients' eye health and provide ongoing care for conditions like glaucoma or cataracts
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and answer any questions regarding treatment plans
## Experience
- Proficiency in conducting eye exams and interpreting results
- Knowledge of optical equipment and tools used in eye care practices
- Familiarity with medical records systems and maintaining accurate patient records
- Strong understanding of physiology related to eye health
- Experience with HIPAA regulations and ensuring patient confidentiality
- Nice-to-have skills include senior care expertise, succession planning abilities, understanding of vital signs, aseptic technique knowledge, and a background in patient care
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $600.00 - $3,600.00 per day
Expected hours: 2 – 12 per week
