What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Dentist position at DocStar Medical Partners?
Start Date: ASAP
LOA: Will take a 3-month commitment, but prefer 6 months
Situation: Current locum dentist's leaving
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 10-hour days (8 hours seeing patients & 2 hours are for administrative work)
Setting: General Dentistry outpatient clinic
Support Staff: 2 dental assistants for Dentist
Patient Volume: There are 21 patients scheduled, but with the no show rate they are seeing an average of 15 patients/day (no show rate is higher than FP)
Procedures: General Dentistry - crowns, partials, dentures, fluoride varnish, they don't offer bridges, they also have a machine to mill the crowns on site and be able to do same day crowns.
Process: Send CVs over to their Executive Director - she will then forward the CV to their Medical Director and set up interviews for her and the Medical Director to speak with the candidate.
EMR: Nextgen
License: Must have an Active CA license - - they also must be Medi-Cal credentialed!!!
Client has fully furnished lodging for the locums. This area is mainly known for their tourism - however is very remote and rural. 1 hour to a Walmart, Target, and Costco. The ocean is 45 min away if they want to surf or go wakeboarding. State and national forest is close by. The eel river flows through the area. Beautiful scenery and lots of outdoor activities for locums who love the outdoors!
