Job Title: Locum Internal Medicine NP/PA
About the Position
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Internal Medicine NP/PA to cover maternity leave at Redington Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan, ME.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care as an NP/PA in an adult medicine setting.
- Manage chronic illnesses and treat a variety of medical conditions.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including RNs, MDs, and MA's.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an NP/PA in an Internal Medicine office.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing chronic illnesses.
- Familiarity with complicated illnesses and ability to work independently.
Working Conditions:
- Monday-Thursday: 7:30AM-4:30PM
- Friday: 7:30AM-12PM
- 30-minute lunches
Technology and Equipment:
- Meditech EMR system
Credentials and Certifications:
- ME license (preferred) or willingness to obtain
- PA license (8-12 weeks) or NP license (5-8 weeks)
- BLS and DEA certifications
