We are a leading healthcare organization seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Internal Medicine NP/PA to cover maternity leave at one of our facilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care as an NP/PA in an adult medicine setting, ensuring exceptional health outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Effectively manage chronic illnesses and treat a variety of complex medical conditions, leveraging expertise and strong clinical judgment.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including RNs, MDs, and MA's, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an NP/PA in an Internal Medicine office, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing chronic illnesses, with a focus on evidence-based practices and best outcomes.
- Familiarity with complicated illnesses and ability to work independently, making sound decisions and taking initiative when needed.
Working Conditions:
- Monday-Thursday: 7:30AM-4:30PM
- Friday: 7:30AM-12PM
- 30-minute lunches, providing opportunities for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Technology and Equipment:
- Meditech EMR system, a cutting-edge platform for efficient and effective care delivery.
Credentials and Certifications:
- ME license (preferred) or willingness to obtain, demonstrating commitment to practicing in the state.
- PA license (8-12 weeks) or NP license (5-8 weeks), with a focus on timely completion and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- BLS and DEA certifications, essential for safe and effective practice.
